The Liebster Award

Great News! Judith Lawrence, author of Highway of Holiness has given my blog, Listening to my Hair Grow, the Liebster Blog award. Judith blogs on Contemplative Without a Cloister where she stresses the importance of love, joy and intimacy with God.

One of the conditions of my receiving this award, is that I present it to other bloggers of my choosing. After many sleepless nights and hours of contemplation . . . (drum roll),  I’ve made my decision.

And the awards go to . . . .

Tim Cooper – Tim’s blog contains the best flash fiction on the planet. Tim’s characters and plots have a quirky edge that delights his readers. You can read his work at  Vanyieck’s Last Stand

Peter Black – Peter is a fellow writer who specializes in encouragement. He is the author of Parables from the Pond and a columnist for the Watford News. Peter’s purpose for writing is to Raise the Gaze and he does it with flourish.

Marta LoFranco, a gentle-hearted woman who shares her soul with readers on Marta’s Ponderings. Take a moment to see the world through Marta’s eyes.

Sally Clark, a writer with a heart full of encouragement for other writers. Sally scours for submission ideas and sends them to her blog subscribers. Are you a writer? Visit Sally at Christian Writer’s Info for inspiration and practical information.

Speaking of awards, maybe someone close to you needs an award of praise today, a simple kind word that acknowledges their efforts. It may be that your words will lift a downcast heart or add a spring to someone’s plodding steps.

Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way (Isaiah 35:3)
